The Forum in February
For Black History month, the Adult Forum is taking a different tact from previous years. The focus for the whole month will be on real estate issues in St Louis, especially north of Delmar. Both in past Forum discussions and in congregational book studies we have learned about white privilege and barriers to Black educational and economic achievement. This month we’re going to explore one of the biggest barriers: home ownership. There have been many racial aspects around the creation of this barrier with a long history, not only in St Louis, but throughout the United States.
All are welcome to join us in the Portrait Lounge at 9am as we continue our journey to racial equality and inclusion.
9:00 a.m. – Portrait Lounge, 1st Floor
In person and Virtual. See Zoom link information below. The topics are vast and varied. Guest speakers are often featured, and newcomers are welcome at all times.

Children’s Music Class
After Sacred Space for Children in worship – Music Room, 2nd Floor
After the children’s Sacred Space time in worship, children in Kindergarten thru Third Grade will have the opportunity to participate in a church music class. In this time together, children will explore the elements of music through singing, movement, percussion, stories and games. Their active participation will enhance their growth socially, spiritually and musically. The children will begin to use their gifts and talents to serve God by sharing their music during worship.
The children’s music time is led by Mary Donald. Mary has worked for much of her career as a music educator in primary and secondary schools. This position makes use of Mary’s vast experience as a music educator and church musician.
