Dear Congregational Family,
- Written Words: As I am writing a paper right now, I am reminded of King Solomon’s words, “Be warned, the writing of many books is endless and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body.” (Ecclesiastes 12:12) In the very next verse he points his son to the ONE book to make sure to be devoted to reading – The Word of God!
- Gospel Words of Life: On Sunday, part of our sermon text from John’s Gospel was: “Therefore many other signs [miracles] Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life in His name.” (John 20:30,31)
- Love for the Word: “Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105) Love God’s Word and walk in the light of the Word!
God bless you as we continue,
“Growing Together in our Faith as the Family of God.”
