Sunday Bible Discussion Group

9:30 a.m. – Dining Room, Lower Level

What does the Bible say? What does it mean? How does it apply to my life? What do others think? Why can't I understand it?

If you've ever asked any of these questions (and even if you haven't) you might find the Sunday Bible Discussion Group a fine way to spend an hour or so any time you are in town on a Sunday morning. The group gathers at 9:30. There is no preparation necessary. We read a section of the Bible aloud and then discuss that portion.

Worried about not being able to attend regularly? Don't! Although there are some regulars, we have a different set of participants every week. You can jump in and out as you need to. Please join us when you can. Please contact David Maltby if you would like information.

Christian Forum

9:30 a.m. – Portrait Lounge, 1st Floor

Christian Forum meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 A.M. in the Portrait Lounge (main floor). The topics are vast and varied. Guest speakers are often featured, and newcomers are welcome at all times. Please contact Jane Smith if you would like information.

Children's Sunday School

10:00 a.m. – Activity Room, 1st Floor

Sunday school is open to children in Kindergarten and higher. Each class begins with a craft. Lessons are based on a multi-age curriculum which usually coincides with the children's sermon, so it will have some familiarity and meaning to them when they participate in Sacred Space during worship. Please contact Andrea Cochran if you would like information.

Children's Music Class

After Sacred Space time in worship – Music Room, 2nd Floor

After the children's Sacred Space time in worship, children in Kindergarten – Third Grade will have the opportunity to participate in a church music class. In this time together, children will explore the elements of music through singing, movement, percussion, stories and games. Their active participation will enhance their growth socially, spiritually and musically. The children will begin to use their gifts and talents to serve God by sharing their music during worship.

The children's music time is led by Mary Donald. Mary has worked for much of her career as a music educator in primary and secondary schools. This position makes use of Mary's vast experience as a music educator and church musician.
